For the last 21 years, some of the most profound moments of my life have happened in New York. I received the call that I had been diagnosed with cancer at my best friend's house here. I got engaged to my former husband here. I made my daughter here. I worked here. I studied here. I hurt here. I healed here. I have come back to see dear friends, work, film videos with @equinox, @stylelikeu and @allure. Today, I am off to interview one of my great inspirations, Charlie Linville, who climbed Mt. Everest with @theheroesproject. Charlie and I met last year on set filming for @equinox. Tonight, @lisafield12 and I will join @yuriangelachung, @jax727 for the @_notestoafriend opening at @site57gallerywhere we are showing EXPLANT, our first gallery show. From my cancer diagnosis at age 21 to this day with Charlie and Yuri, with healed trauma, ongoing strength and an open heart, it is all somehow magically connected. We never know exactly how it will all come together. When we stay true to ourselves and trust it is all moving in the right direction, it is pretty darn extraordinary where it all leads.
