This morning, I have been writing (long overdue) thank you notes for Last Cut. I have also been editing podcasts with @pidgeo_n and @zoebuckman and reflecting on where others have courageously met me in this work. This project allows for the ongoing opportunity to connect, converse, speak up, heal and learn. I am experiencing a tremendous gratitude for all of it.
And in the spirit of gratitude, I want to take a moment to thank @lisafield12 for standing by me since the very day the Last Cut Project was born. Her willingness to stay present with the ever-evolving dialogue around creating art that is so intimately tied to my own personal healing and experience (which has some good days and some bad...reference next post please) has been steadfast and nurturing. She has supported the all and everything, while reminding me that tomorrow is a new day. Together we have learned that the work will come through us if we keep showing up and stay committed to honesty, truth, integrity and connection. She continues to teach me buckets about friendship and trust, but quite frankly that is a whole other book we will write one day. Thank you, Lisa. I am so very grateful. 📷: @marielaosborn
