Last night, I had the incredible gift of dancing into the wee hours of the night with dear ones in celebration of my sweet cousin's wedding. Three generations gathered in honor of love. Love may not directly dismantle physical realities of the dysfunctional patriarchy, the woes of politics or the magnitude of the storms, earthquakes and fires spurred by rapid climate change. However, what love does do is fill us up. It feeds us, and gives us the strength to keep showing up, opening up, doing and giving. I awoke this morning with tremendous gratitude for the ability to gather, celebrate and connect with my loved ones, and a huge space in my heart for all those in Florida, Mexico, Oregon and beyond, struggling right now to find shelter, warmth and safety. #lastcutproject#gratitude #love
